I absolutely love that they come with a cardholder on the bag and matching cards and tissue paper. It's really everything I need to NOT have to make an extra trip to the store at the last minute. (That seems to always happen to me!)They are festive and strong bags that will hold a good sized gift, and they look like I made a special trip to the Hallmark store because everything is very color coordinated and well matched. Now, I just need a gaggle of these for Christmas!Don't ask me to wrap a present. Ever. It'll end up looking like a five year old wrapped it. Of all the things I've mastered in my life, wrapping presents definitely isn't one of them. My answer? Gift bags. Everything looks good in a gift bag. Finding the right gift bag at the last minute can be a serious pain in the rear. Trust me I've scoured Walgreens on birthdays begging them to look for something more childlike in back when my girls have a party to go to. I found that the only solution was to ensure I kept a stockpile of them in my closet. These bags are great. Very well made. They don't fall apart the minute you put something heavy in it. They are just the right size for a number of kids' gifts. Highly recommend if you're like me and you avoid wrapping at all costs and prefer to use gift bags to make your gifts look presentable.Nice set of sturdy gift bags measure 5.75x10.5x13 which is a decent standard size. Heavy, gloss paper and comes with tissue paper these bags are non-age specific birthday bags that also come with matching cards with envelopes. These are a nice set to keep on hand for easy or spur of the moment gift giving.These bags are pretty boring as far as design---"Birthday Boy," "Birthday Girl," and "It's your birthday!" are about as vanilla as it gets---but what they lack in style they make up for in value. With a coordinating card and envelope included in each bag, plus the tissue paper, at the current price of under $7 for the set, that's a great deal. It's also quite clever how each bag has an integrated pocket on the outside of the bag, so the card just slips in and won't get lost deep in the bag and ignored. How many times I have seen kids open a gift and then wondered out loud, "who gave me this?" By putting the card outside the bag, the design of this encourages kids to first focus on the gift giver, and then the gift. I didn't think there was much room for innovation in gift bags, but Hallmark has done it.These aren't the most beautiful or innovative bags I've ever used for gifts but they get the job done. Sturdy and well-made.No complaints.
