I appreciated the size of the item and they did the job for a 44 retirement event. However, the assemble piece is more than what I bargained for. Im sure this product works well for those who are expertise in this realm but for me I would never purchase again b/c it was not convenient enough for my liking which is why i gave it a 2 in the easy to assemble sectionThe golden ones were more a olive greenThey are darker color than true burgundy, once erected they are full, but as a reminder, they are made out of tissue paper, so use care when separating the tissue paper. They can become droopy with rain or humidity in the air. very nice decoration under the perfect conditions.Just to say an awww!!!Aggie party here was well decorated with these pompon.A true Aggie Maroon color!!! Size were perfect! A little hard to assemble and it took me a while since is tissue paper.As pictured! Packaged nicely so that the edges would not be torn or mis-shapen. My only advice would be to make these a few days before your event/use. The paper has a noticeable chemical smell which I am hoping will dissipate as they sit out for a few days. For a different look I tried combining the papers as seen in the gold and white one. Happy with this purchase!These were great for the center pieces I created to go on my craft table at my daughter's Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter Tea UN-Birthday Party. I wanted the kids to be able to paint the white roses Red along with some other crafts I put together to try to make my daughters Birthday Party as fun as it could be since she'd broken her leg at school the week before & we couldn't hold her party at the park where the kids could play this year. I opened 2 of the poms with 1 side flat, glued the flat sides together & hot glued a wooden dowel I'd screwed into a tin bucket I bought from the dollar store to make a mini replica of the rose bushes in Alice in Wonderland. Not all the roses ended up Red, but the girls All had fun & I think it might start a trend of having her friends do at least 1 craft at her birthday parties. These pompoms Are really nice & big & the quality is awesome for the price. Highly recommend these to anyone looking to fill a space with some pompom fun!They are just very time consuming to fluff up. They looked great once finished however I only did half of them instead of a whole ball. We had them on a flat surface instead of hanging.These are just as pictured but as many reviews have stated - they were a bit tedious to make. I made them a little at a time so if you can - order early so you have time to get them all made. I timed myself and it took about 10 minutes for each one. They looked good and dressed the room up very nicely!
