This black Corning 96-well microplate has a clear flat bottom with a total well volume of 360µL and a recommended working volume of 75 to 200µL. It has a cell growth area of 0.32sq cm and a recommended medium well volume of 100 to 200µL. Bottom is 60% thinner than conventional polystyrene plates, resulting in lower background fluorescence and enabling readings down to 340nm. Opaque walls prevent well-to-well crosstalk, while optically clear flat well bottom permits direct microscopic viewing. Can be used for both top and bottom reading instruments. It is TC-treated for optimal cell attachment. A nonreversable lid with condensation ring to reduce contamination is included. Sterilized by gamma radiation and certified nonpyrogenic.
